Why Projects Go Unfinished
Solar projects can go unfinished for a number of reasons, including:
- Solar companies going out of business. There are many reasons – competition, scam companies, or just poorly run businesses – that companies disappear. It’s unfortunately common for companies to go under and leave projects incomplete.
- Lack of follow-through. In some cases, a company may actually finish your installation but not perform the required steps to get it up and running. There are many steps – permitting, inspections, interconnection, and more – that are required to get your system turned on after the panels are physically in place, and many companies simply don’t follow through on them. Incorrect or missing paperwork, failed inspections, or other mistakes can freeze projects indefinitely.
- Technical issues. Poor workmanship, wiring mistakes, missing equipment or otherwise faulty work can stall an installation. If those issues don’t get resolved, the project may not be completed.
- Site conditions. Unexpected complications, including roof damage or electrical issues, may pop up during an installation. If your installer can’t handle them, the project may be put on hold.

- Long-Term Support. After completion, we offer maintenance, monitoring, repairs, and other long-term services to ensure that your system can be repaired and maintained as needed to continue operating at peak efficiency.
