Jerry called us last year, he wanted to replace his roof and add solar panels and he was referred to us by GAF. After inspecting the condition of the roof, we were able to give him two options, either replacing the roof and adding a standard solar system or updating to the GAF designed DecoTech Solar System. After laying out the advantages of each option Jerry deiced that the best way to go about this project is replacing the entire roof and installing GAF designed DecoTech Roof-Integrated Solar System.
GAF’s roof-integrated solar product, DecoTech, is a low-profile solar energy system with standard solar panels that are installed as part of your roof. GAF designed their product so that its installation is part of the re-roofing process. This makes it easy to set the system at a lower profile, making it less noticeable and hiding the racking and other wiring necessary to the installation.
