Solar Discovery now offers a yearly Services Membership Plan that includes free site visits, monitoring services, and more to help keep your home energy system working at its best. We know it’s common for solar companies to disappear and leave their customers hanging, so whether we did your original installation or not, we’re happy to offer our services. Rest easy knowing that whatever happens, we’ve got your back.
Solar Discovery’s Yearly Services Membership Plan
- $599 per year
- Limited-time promotional discount of $100 on the annual membership fee

- Available even if Solar Discovery did not install your system
The Services Membership Plan is designed to help identify issues early, keep you informed about your system’s health, and give you access to professional solar services at a discounted rate. While it doesn’t replace warranties or insurance, it does provide ongoing insight and support.

What's Included
- Up to two (2) onsite system error checks during the membership term, as deemed necessary by Solar Discovery, focused on diagnosing reported or detected system issues (inspection and diagnostics only)
- Four quarterly remote evaluations, each with system analysis reports
- One full year of remote monitoring and error alerts, based on available system data
- 15% discount on service, maintenance, and repairs
- 5% discount on eligible system upgrades
- Eligibility even if your system was installed by another company
- $500 referral bonus for qualifying new solar installation referrals
If our monitoring or evaluations identify a potential issue, we’ll notify you and review next steps with you. Any repair or upgrade work is always quoted and approved before moving forward.
Site Visits
Our Service Membership Plan includes up to two site visits, plus four quarterly remote evaluations, each with system analysis reports. Site visits and remote evaluations give us the chance to provide a comprehensive inspection to get an accurate picture of your system and diagnose any issues that may be affecting its performance.
Regular site visits and inspections are important to ensure not only that your system continues functioning properly, but that it’s functioning as efficiently as possible as well. While your panels may be producing energy without issue, their efficiency may be affected by a number of factors. Lower efficiency means less energy produced, which means lower overall financial savings.
Monitoring Services
In addition to the site visits, the Services Membership Plan also includes solar monitoring services for those who have monitoring set up. (We offer monitoring transfer and setup for an additional fee). Monitoring allows you to keep track of your system’s performance and ensure that it’s operating efficiently. We’ll monitor your system for you so you can rest easy knowing that professionals are always keeping an eye on it.
Why is Solar Servicing and Maintenance Important?
Solar panels are designed to last for decades. However, much like a car or any other complex machinery that’s built to last a long time, solar systems still require regular maintenance and servicing to ensure optimal functioning. Maximum performance means maximum savings on your energy bills.
You also never know when a falling tree branch or a severe storm may damage your system without warning. It’s unfortunately all too common for solar companies to vanish without a trace, leaving their customers hanging without any way to get their system fixed. Having your solar company available to handle these emergencies, as well as regular servicing and maintenance, can extend the lifetime of your solar panels and provide you with clean and affordable energy for decades to come.

System Eligibility & Initial Evaluation
To enroll, your system must:
- Have active monitoring in place
- Be operational, safe, and in good working condition
- Pass a one-time system pre-approval evaluation
For new customers, or for systems installed more than one year ago, there is a one-time $299 onsite evaluation and monitoring transfer fee.
If you decide to continue with the membership after this evaluation, $100 is credited toward your first year’s membership fee.
Important Notes
- Equipment, parts, and materials are not included in the membership price
- The membership does not guarantee energy production, system performance, or utility savings
- Monitoring and evaluations are diagnostic in nature and may not catch every possible issue
- Commercial systems are not included
- Memberships are annual and do not automatically renew
